Tasting Room Associate

Bernhardt Winery is seeking motivated, dependable individuals that are interested in working in the wine and event industry. This is a part-time position, Saturday and Sunday, at our on-site winery Tasting Room in Plantersville, TX.

  • We are looking for outgoing, friendly individuals with a professional demeanor and customer service experience, who can interact easily with our guests and club members, as well as other staff members.. Experience in retail and/or customer service positions preferred. Wine knowledge is helpful but not required. Must be 18+ years old.
  • Must be available to work weekends, Saturday and Sunday, hours between 11:00 am to 10:00 pm
  • Must be able to lift up to 35-45 lbs. (case of wine); as well as walk, stand, squat, bend and reach throughout the shift
  • TABC and Food Handler Certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Must have a positive attitude, be a team player and promote the mission of Bernhardt Winery
  • Consistently provide exceptional customer service to all guests and club members
  • Conduct wine tastings for walk-in guests and occasional scheduled groups
  • Promote wine sales, club memberships, and engage customers with the history of the winery
  • Restock wine and merchandise inventory as needed
  • Operate a point-of-sale system to complete credit card, gift card, and cash transactions
  • Must be able to multi-task and stay organized during busy periods despite interruptions
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Follow established opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures
  • General housekeeping including polishing wine glasses, sweeping floors and emptying trash as necessary, maintain cleanliness of the facility (bar, bussing & sanitizing tables, restrooms, serving stations)

Hourly pay starting at $10.00/hour plus tip share-cash & electronic tips

Event Crew

This is the perfect weekend job for a local high school or college student!

We are looking forward to growing our winery team. We are currently seeking several motivated, dependable individuals that are interested in working part-time positions, Saturday / Sunday only, in the wine and event industry.

Bernhardt Winery events and concerts are held every weekend from March through November. Applicant must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays.
This is a part-time weekend position only. WEEKENDS REQUIRED.

Kitchen Assistant

Excellent growth opportunity. Duties may include all aspects of managing, and organizing the operations of the winery kitchen which provides select food items available for purchase and to compliment our customers overall winery experience.
Qualified candidates must have knowledge of general kitchen operations, food preparation, and food handling and storage guidelines. Have working knowledge and adherence to food safety standards and practices. Demonstrate the experience and ability to use common kitchen equipment and appliances safely. Deliver excellent customer service to customers and patrons.

TABC and Texas Food Handlerโ€™s Certification required within 30 days of start.
Part-time position: Friday through Sunday
