This fruity blend has an enticing soft nose of candied apples and cotton candy. The palate impression reminds me of my mom’s homemade cherry pie. This wine is made from very rare grapes grown only in the most pristineenvironments. We are very lucky to have a few of these every year.
This wine has all the wonderful components of a full bodied red. However, it comes in a nice soft style. Enjoy the richness of a nice smoked cabernet blended with merlot. This wine has a nice smooth soft initial palate impression then a full mid-palate with fruit and finishes with a gentle dryness.
This deep dark rich port started with an extra fine wine and has been aged longer creating intense complex flavors. The taste begins with heaviness on the palate with hot spiciness quickly giving way to complex fruit flavors with an extended warming finish. Our Tawny began with the fermentation of 2005 Cabernet grapes and barreled aged for two years before racking, blending and brandy fortification. The wine was then sealed for three more years in a special barrel. This rich chocolate colored Tawny is smooth and loaded with toffee and soft nuts with lasting warmth.
