On-the-Porch Sunset Concert Series
Jerri and I dreamed of a place where family and friends could meet and enjoy the beauty of nature and celebrate life. In support of our dream, we have created a Sunday evening sunset celebration we call On-the-Porch. Every Sunday evening between the middle of April thru the middle of November we have some of the finest musicians in Texas here on our porch. Please come and relax with your family and friends. To make the evenings more relaxing and enjoyable, we have invited some of our favorite area restaurants to come out and provide a dinner meal at a very reasonable price. The dinners run between $8 and $10. The winery will be open for tastings and we sell wine by the glass or bottle. Please bring your lawn chairs and come relax with us. The cover charge this season will be between $7 and $10 per adult over 18 and is posted each week. Check out the spring lineup below:

April 18: Shake Russell and his band!!
Shake is one of Texas’s great troubadours. He and the band, Mike Roberts and Doug Floyd, play all original music. Some of their music takes us back to the early 70’s, and yet the love affair with this group continues with the release of the newest CD! Check him out at www.shakerussell.com. Cover charge is $10.

April 25: The Occasional String Band
These are one of our summer favorites, featuring mandolin, banjo, stand-up-base, guitar and vocals. Great sing along and family entertainment, they perform old Texas traditional ballads, swing, and have great harmonies like a barber-shop quartet. Cover charge is $7.

May 2: Fab Five
If you love the Beatles music, great entertainment and are read to take a trip back in time, then don’t miss this great concert! Check them out at www.thefab5.net. Cover charge is $10.

May 9: Mother’s Day
We have a wonderful musician especially planned to entertain all the moms. Tomas Ballesteros is an incredible classical Spanish guitar player, singer and performer. He tells stories of his youth growing up in Spain and his performances include Spanish dances along with other classical Spanish instruments. We will be honoring all the mothers with a flower and will present a prize to the mom that has been a mom for the most years! Cover charge is $7.

May 16: Mary Allen Keating
Mary’s abilities as a songwriter, scriptwriter, interactive performer, musical theatre producer and Patsy Cline impersonator make Mary Allen-Keating a unique and refreshingly engaging entertainer. This fantastic group will wow us with their Western Swing and Patsy Cline music! Check her out at www.maryallenkeating.com. Cover charge is $7.

May 23: Van-lang
Van-lang’s lead vocalists, Mike and Dawn, combine their musicianship and state-of-the-art equipment to produce a phenomenal sound. Powerful and unique are just a few of the metaphors used when referring to this dynamic duo. Not content staying confined to just one gender of music, Mike and Dawn venture into the Pop, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Latin and Country fields. They find they are very much “at home” in all of them. May 30: Memorial Weekend
For a second year in a row now for Memorial Weekend, we have invited Ezra Charles and The Texas Bluz Review. This is a rockin’ piano player with an incredible horn section that will provide us with a Las Vegas style show!! This is our biggest band to ever grace our porch! July 4: Fourth of July Celebration
Hold this date as July 4th falls on a Sunday. We have a great celebration planned and will have Kevin Black here entertaining and performing his incredible patriotic songs.



Harvest Event Saturday, July 10
After six incredible years of working the vineyard, a real grape harvest will happen at Bernhardt Winery with an estimated harvest of around 3 tons! We will be hosting a harvest festival followed by a catered luncheon. Details soon...

Grape Stomp and Bernhardt Winery Anniversary Celebration
On Sunday, July 25, we will celebrate our fourth year anniversary with a good old grape stomp. The celebration will include a hay ride through the vines, a grape stomp, lawn games, a Lucy Look-Alike contest, specialty food vendors, and sunset toast and poetry readings. Concluding our evening will be our Sunday “On The Porch” music concert.


Labor Day Grape Crush Festival
On Sunday, September 5, we will celebrate our fall harvest with another grape stomp. The celebration will include a vineyard tour, a grape stomp, lawn games, specialty food vendors, and sunset toast and poetry readings. Concluding our evening will be our Sunday “On The Porch” music concert with Shake Russell and his band!!

Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail
Growing up and living in the north Houston area, I was always jealous of the Hill Country and all their wineries and wine trail events. As I was learning the commercial aspect of this business and building our winery, I had visions of having a wine trail here in our beautiful part of Texas. Well now we all have one. Wine & Chocolate Trail Event
Enjoy the last burst of winter by relaxing and be warmed by our fire and classic red wines paired with exquisite fine chocolate. The first two weeks of February is Wine and Chocolate Trail and all the wineries along the trail are providing chocolate and wine pairings.
